Description
The IKO power Drain C range consists of roof penetrations with PE pipe designed specifically for power and cable passages on flat roofs and allowing simple, fast and effective waterproofing.
The patented expansion system ensures watertight fixing of a 4 mm thick bituminous membrane (APP) with composite reinforcement on a 400 mm Geberit PE pipe.
Thanks to the membrane, the roof opening can be perfectly connected with IKO bitumen membranes without interrupting the roof composition. The sanded upper surface makes any moisture visible, allowing it to dry out when covering with the finishing layer. The MMP lower surface allows the roof opening to be flame welded or cold bonded.
A solid fixing plate installed at the bottom of the roof opening ensures stability on the roof. Pre-drilled holes in the fixing plate allow mechanical fixing of the roof opening.
At the top, the roof opening is guided downwards using PE elbows (for diameter 75). The roof opening is finished with heat-shrink tubing to protect the system from dirt, insects, moisture and wind.
