VERMEX M is a ready-to-use product, composed of calibrated vermiculite granules, exfoliated by heat treatment.
Pouring VERMEX M in bulk:
· between the joists of wooden floors to improve thermal and acoustic properties.
· on flexible (degraded) insulation already present between the joists of the wooden floors.
VERMEX M in hot bitumens:
· is used for localized upgrading of (existing) flat roofs. The use of hot bitumens provides good adhesion to the existing bituminous substrate.
VERMEX M mixed with cement and water:
· for filling hollow spaces in chimneys, between the smoke evacuation pipe and the masonry.
· as a slightly insulating lining ( VERMEX M concrete) for load-bearing concrete elements or slabs.
