DESCRIPTION
• Synthetic elastic bituminous mastic, based on a mixture of SBS modified bitumen and solvents.
• Good adhesion to bituminous substrates, wood, insulation, metals, concrete, stones and synthetic materials
• Good resistance to aging, UV rays and atmospheric influences.
• The product retains its elasticity.
AREAS OF EMPLOYMENT
• Repair putty for repairing cracks, tears and blisters in bituminous waterproofing coatings, ridge caps, roof connections and zinc gutters.
• Finishing mastic for sealing rainwater downpipes, chimneys, all types of roof penetrations. • Cold glue for bonding bituminous shingles.
IMPLEMENTATION
• Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil, dirt and loose particles.
• In the presence of moss or lichen, it is advisable to use IKOpro Anti-Moss (fungicide solution) and allow to dry before continuing with the application.
• Porous surfaces and existing bituminous coatings must first be impregnated with a layer of IKOpro Bitumen Primer (Aderosol)
• Repair cracks and blisters using IKOpro Roof Mastic applied with a trowel or spatula.
