The universal modular dimmer TCC 5 - 350 W for DIN rail mounting has a width of 1TE and is controlled by a push button. It is suitable for dimming all dimmable lamps (i.e. resistive, inductive and capacitive loads as well as LED lamps and CFLi eco lamps). It is not suitable for controlling motors. The minimum load is 5 W and the module supports a load of up to 350 W. The maximum load for LED and eco lamps is 200 W. The dimmer operates according to both the phase control and reverse phase control principle.

• Function: This modular dimmer operates on both the phase control and reverse phase control principles. The choice of lamp type is determined by the module settings. The minimum dimming level specific to the lamp can also be set. The dimmer is equipped with an automatic detection and indication system in the event of an operating problem (overload, short circuit, etc.). Control is carried out using NO pushbuttons (not illuminated) or potential-free pushbuttons (8 - 24 V). Press briefly to switch on or off. Press longer to increase or decrease the intensity. When you press for a long time, the dimming is reversed after each interruption (increase light intensity -> stop -> decrease light intensity -> stop -> increase light intensity -> etc.). When the maximum intensity is reached, the dimming level no longer changes. You can choose whether or not to store the last level before the dimmer was switched off. Up to 30 NO contacts (107-0000X) can be connected in parallel (max. distance 100 m). The pushbuttons are not galvanically isolated. You can choose between 3 additional modes, which you can select using the miniature switches on the device. Mode 1 is the single-pushbutton control (normal control) In this mode, the dimmer is controlled using a pushbutton (NO or potential-free). Mode 2 is the staircase function In this mode, the lighting switches off automatically after 3 minutes.

The dimmer can be used with or without a memory function. The dimmer is supplied as standard without a memory function. To change this function, use the control button. The dimmer can also operate in "all off" mode. If another control point is connected to the "all off" input, this command can be used to deactivate all lighting points connected to this dimmer.
