WHY INSTALL AN ANTI-VACUUM?

ISSUE

When flushing the toilet or emptying the bathtub, the movement of water in the pipe causes a suction that empties the water seal of the siphon with the lowest water seal, called "de-siphoning", hence the noise in the pipes and the rising of odors. These inconveniences are due to the installation of several sanitary appliances connected to the same drain

SOLUTION

Installing an anti-vacuum prevents the "gurgling" in the pipes and the rising of odors by preventing the siphon from being unprimed.
The anti-vacuum is a ventilation valve which, with each movement of water in the pipe, lets in a tiny quantity of air, which by mixing eliminates the suction phenomenon.
